Empowerment Through Our Community (ETOC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting individuals and families by providing access to education, workforce development, and essential community resources that promote self-sufficiency and long-term success.
We are committed to serving underserved and disadvantaged populations by removing barriers and creating meaningful pathways to opportunity. Through our programs and partnerships, ETOC supports individuals in achieving personal, educational, and professional growth—particularly in high-demand fields such as healthcare.
In addition to our core services, ETOC provides resources and volunteer-driven support services for youth and adults with disabilities, ensuring inclusive access to mentorship, guidance, and community engagement opportunities. Our goal is to foster independence, confidence, and a sense of belonging for every individual we serve. Through compassion, collaboration, and community-centered initiatives, ETOC strives to strengthen families, empower individuals, and create lasting, positive change. Founder's Vision
As a woman, a nurse, and a leader deeply rooted in my community, my vision for Empowerment Through Our Community (ETOC) was born from both compassion and lived experience. I have seen firsthand the barriers that prevent individuals—especially women, families, disadvantaged youth, and adults with disabilities—from accessing education, stable careers, and essential support systems. I created ETOC to serve as a bridge—connecting people not only to resources, but to opportunity, dignity, and hope.
ETOC is committed to uplifting individuals by providing access to education, workforce development, community resources, and volunteer-driven support services that promote self-sufficiency and long-term success. We strive to create inclusive programs that support disadvantaged youth and adults with disabilities through mentorship, guidance, and meaningful engagement opportunities that foster independence and confidence.
